Arav Bhardwaj
About
Background
I'm Arav Bhardwaj, a founder and engineer based out of San Francisco. I lead technical development at Basics, where we are building screen-aware macOS agents for human enablement, and I spend the rest of my time exploring dynamic non-text interfaces for agents.
At Carnegie Mellon I'm pursuing a double major in Artificial Intelligence and Statistics & Machine Learning, and I'm involved in Sigma Eta Pi, ScottyLabs, and the CMU AI Club.
Work
- BasicsBuilding screen-aware macOS agents for human enablement
- Carnegie MellonDouble major in AI and Statistics & Machine Learning. Sigma Eta Pi, ScottyLabs, and CMU AI Club.
- Karini AIBuilt MCP Registry, Microsoft Teams AI bots for enterprise clients, multi-agent A2A LangGraph systems, and voice agents with Amazon Nova Sonic.
- Dartmouth-HitchcockML research in computational pathology. Trained Wasserstein GAN architecture to generate synthetic colorectal tissue images, scaling training to terabyte-scale whole-slide data on Slurm HPC clusters.
Focus
My work sits between agent systems and product: voice agents, multi-agent orchestration, MCP tooling, and the interfaces people use to steer them. Earlier I did ML research in computational pathology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, training a Wasserstein GAN to generate synthetic colorectal tissue images on terabyte-scale whole-slide data.
